Flea eggs survive in the environment for up to 2 years. They wait for the right conditions to mature. We always see an increase in flea problems once the weather starts to warm up, as the flea eggs that have been building up over the cooler months start to hatch now. In our climate fleas breed all year round and we need to treat throughout the year.
If you are seeing a problem now then you need to treat the environment with Flego spray to kill off as many of the eggs as possible and the get all the pets in your household on flea control. Either a monthly spot on or monthly program or a combination of both.
